This is a quieter area on the Ashton court side of the suspension bridge - has trails for walkers and cyclists that are separate - trails are marked and there is a car park there (run by the Forestry commission - free to members or a charge) and then street parking that there is also a charge by run by North Somerset District council - good for cyclists, runners dog walkers, families and walkers

Compared to a lot of closely growing trees. This one is pleasantly relaxing. Had a great time with friends and family!

Such a beautiful spot, so close to the city and some great short enduro tracks!

Brilliant place for a nice walk, lovely scenery. We saw quite a few people on walks, with dogs and children or on their own, and everyone was very friendly.

Paid for carpark but great for a walk in the woods, more strenuous options take you down to the river.

Typical woods - not so much to explore. Only came across this cotton field which was nice in the late afternoon light.

Few different walks, varying lengths, also cycle tracks .
Was a bit muddy at the bottom near the river, but rest was all OK.

Lovely trees, but get there soon they are chopping them down.
Lots of well-made but fairly tame mountain bike and walking tracks. Bit of noise from the Portway on the northside of the wood near the cliffs. Huge variety of heritage trees. Down graded from 5 stars as there now seems to be a campaign to charge for parking anywhere near and eliminating previous parking places affecting accessibility for mobility challenged people and also folk who are not rich.
